Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 June 2026

1. The service

OUF provides digital menu tools for restaurants: an app to create and manage menus (including AI-generated dish images, descriptions, and translations), a public web menu reachable by QR code, and a web dashboard. OUF is a business-to-business service; by creating an account you confirm you act on behalf of a business.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity under your account, including staff accounts you create. Provide accurate information and keep your email reachable — it’s how we send service notices.

3. Plans, trial & billing

New accounts start on the Free plan, a trial that runs for 4 months from the day you create your first menu. When the trial ends, your live menu and QR code keep working, but editing is paused until you move to a paid plan. Paid plans are currently invoiced directly (online card billing is coming); prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with notice. Monthly allowances (e.g. AI images) reset each billing cycle and unused allowances don’t carry over.

4. Your content

Menus, photos, and other content you upload remain yours. AI-generated images and text created from your content belong to your account and may be used freely for your restaurant. You grant us the license needed to host, process, and display this content — that’s what the service is. You are responsible for the accuracy of your menu (including prices and allergen information) and for having the rights to anything you upload.

5. AI-generated content

AI output can be imperfect. Always review generated images, descriptions, translations, and assistant answers before relying on them — especially allergen and dietary information, which we surface as a convenience and not as a guarantee. The restaurant remains responsible for the information it publishes to its guests.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the platform, no reselling without an agreement, and no using the AI features to generate content unrelated to your restaurant. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable.

7. Availability & changes

We aim for high availability but the service is provided “as is” — we don’t guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may improve or change features over time; if a change materially reduces what you pay for, you may cancel and receive a pro-rated refund of prepaid fees.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages such as lost profits or lost data beyond our reasonable control.

9. Termination

You can cancel anytime; your account then downgrades at the end of the paid period. You can delete your account in the app or by email (see our Privacy Policy for the deletion window). We may terminate accounts that breach these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law, and disputes are handled by the Swedish courts, with Malmö tingsrätt as the court of first instance. Questions: ouf.design.studio@gmail.com.
